Spotlight on: Andy White

Thu 31 Mar 2016

Andy escaped the confines of a call centre to become a stand up comic, specialising in the arts of silly voices and faces, combined with observational humour, topical humour and his mixed race background.

In his show for this years Derby Comedy Festival, Andy explores the concept of parenthood...which he does NOT like to do. He has written this funny and honest stand up show about being a dad, so he'll only be able to perform it whilst his son is still too young to understand.

The show debuted at Leicester Comedy Festival in February 2015 and has soared with popularity, getting booked in for the Brighton Fringe, Bath Comedy Festival, Birmingham mac, Nottingham Comedy Festival and Birmingham Comedy Festival, amongst many others.

Andy can boast about performing to a wide variety of audiences, of all ages and in many different comedy clubs, theatres, universities, radio and TV shows, and at corporate entertainment events. Overseas, he’s performed in Monte Carlo (Laughing Horse), Berlin (Bleu Montag), Abu Dhabi and Dubai (Laughter House) to name a few. But now is your chance to see him visit Derby!

Andy White will be performing at the Bean Caffé on Friar Gate on Sunday 1 May. You can find more information about his show and purchase tickets by clicking here.
