Funhouse Comedy Club is one of the UK's foremost promoters and bookers of live stand-up comedy. Establised in 2004 they now arrange comedy shows for over 30 venues around the country, as well as festivals and private events.

Shows can take place in any venue including theatres, restaurants, hotels, tents and pub function rooms. The venues in Derby include Bar One, Blessington Carriage, The Greyhound, The Silk Mill Museum and our Festival Tent.

Run by Nottingham based comedian Spikey Mike, Funhouse Comedy Club book anything from total beginners to the top pro acts and have previously booked Rhod Gilbert, Sarah Millican, Mark Watson and Russell Kane.

The events are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a great atmosphere - resulting in them winning the Best Midlands Comedy Club award with comedy website Chortle.

During the festival, they are putting on three events; Funhouse Comedy Club on Sat 14 Jun, Should I Stay or Should I Go? on Mon 16 Jun and Edinburgh Festival Preview All-dayer on Sun 22 Jun and are collaborating with us on a fourth; Comedy Moves on Tue 17 Jun
