“As we have a proven track record of bringing acts ranging from the innovative and ground-breaking to mainstream household names to the city, we felt the timing was right to take Derby’s comedy credentials to the next level and to tie in with Derby’s blossoming festival culture. Working with our partners in the city, we hope to do just that.”

This is a first for Derby and it’s going to bring colour, laughter and interest to this part of the country and really put Derby on the map. We’re hoping that thousands of people will come along and thoroughly enjoy what is bound to be a summer of good quality comedy acts.”
The Festival will take place in a range of venues including: Assembly Rooms – Great Hall, Darwin and ’45 Suite; Bar 1; Déda; Derby Theatre Studio; Guildhall Theatre and QUAD; , along with an outdoor programme on the Market Place on Saturday 21 Jun.
